  1. Hello po. I’m a CPA and I aspire to be an agent in the Bureau. However, my height does not fit to the requirement. I’m female by the way. Is there an alternative so that I can still qualify for a position?
I really want to join NBI.

Saka magbibigay po ba sila ng 2nd chance kung bumagsak na ako sa neuro exam nung first take ko 2 years ago. I am a Certified Public Accountant, a recent Certified Fraud Examiner passer and MBA candidate.

Thanks in advance po. God bless you always.

  8. Hi. Tim here. 30 yrs old. I’m a CPA. Nagcomment na rin ako before. Took the neuro last 2016, failed. Nagapply ulit ako however I never heard back. I still want to be part of the bureau. Kahit sa mga lesser positions willing ako, “Intelligence Agent” or “Intelligence Officer”, lang and the likes, with a salary way below what NBI agents get. Kahit ako lagi una or pointman sa mga raids, or guard duty whatever, anytime anywhere, I’m that guy. Just let me be part of the team. Naglolaw rin ako ngayon and working at the same time. Will gladly give all of those up, basta tanggapin niyo lang ako.

  10. Hi! I just passed the criminologist board examination and very interested po talaga akong pumasok sa law enforcement at NBI po talaga yung agency na gusto kong pasukan. Problem is, during college may mga binagsak akong subjects (algebra and trigo witch is my weaknesses) and I think hindi pasok sa 84 yung general weighted average ko kasi iniiyakan po talaga namin yung subjects and profs namin sa university namin (as in ang taas po ng standards). Although during the board exams medyo mataas po yung nakuha kong average and nabigyan ako ng certificate kasi (medyo) mataas nga po yung average ko. Pwede po kaya yun mag suffice sa kulang ko? Haha and under age pa ako. Balak ko din kumuha ng masters degree habang naghihintay kaso di ako sure kung matatakpan po nun yung gaps ko sa requirements.

Is there any restrictions po for trainees to bring any form of paper? or hand-written letters? or at least, notebooks?

  12. Hi Everyone,
I am also just doing research about how to become a NBI Special Investigator, the position for Non Lawyers and Non CPAs. I’m an ECE graduate and a CS Professional Passer. I saw on the requirements for Special Investigator that you must have 84% average w/ no failing grades on your TOR, and also the eye sight requirements should be normal range. The thing is I fail those two, I have some failing grades and I wear glasses. So, with that in mind, what is the chance or is there a chance for me to get considered for this position? Thank you so much for your help.

    • Sir we have the same situation. I took the neuro exam last January 2018 which I unfortunately failed. I was requesting for re-examination but they said it is not allowed anymore. We only have one chance to pass the neuro exam. You need to secure an exceptional approval from the academy bago ka makapag re-take ng neuro exam. Sad for me I am turning 36 this year making me ineligible. Maybe working in the Bureau is really not meant for me. But I am still praying for His blessing and guidance. Good luck further .

Walang specific date ang training. Basta magkaroon lang ng qualified pool of applicants, pwede na magstart ang training. However, the application process is quite long. In my case, I waited for about 4 months before i got called to take the preliminary examination (like an aptitude/battery test), then another 6 months before i got qualified for the training proper. I resigned from my previous company when i was able to pass the Neuro Psychiatric Examination. Anyway, best of luck sayo!

            Last two questions. Please. hehe.

First, is a backer really needed in order to hasten the application? In my case kasi, I already sourced out all my connections but I really don’t have anyone in the NBI, please advise. T_T. Can I still be considered at least?

And last po is, how can I prepare for the neuro? I really have no idea how to prepare for it while I already have planned all other exams. For example, for the entrance exam, I’m reviewing two PNP reviewers, while for the physical exam, I’m doing 2.5 km every other day (target is less than 11min, im still at 14min.30sec as of today), 300m sprint (target is 50s, im at 55s today), push ups 3 sets of 15reps (target is 2sets of 60reps) and push ups 3 sets of 15 reps (target is 50reps in one minute). I’m actually laying all out my plan as I have no other source except for this. Please advice po. T_T

          • Hi there,

Sorry late reply. Nabusy sa trabaho. Anyway, just do your best. I’ve been a walk-in applicant as well pero diretso kasi ako sa NBI main office sa Taft. So long as your qualified, no need for any pulling strings. Pagpara sayo, para sayo talaga. Tiyaga lang. Good luck!

        • Hi Mr. Arthur I’m an agent aspirant like you. If you don’t mind, can I ask you where did you get the target figures for the agility test. And also you mentioned push ups twice, did you mean sit-ups for the 60 reps for 2 sets. I’m also preparing for the neuro and agility test so your response is highly appreciated.

By the way, for the initial qualifying exam the UPCAT reviewer helped me a lot.

As per your second quetsion, neuro is a behavioral exam, no review pr preparation neede since this is just an assessment of your inner self, of who you really are. Good luck bro.

But please take note that I have no idea in any way if the events and score equivalents is the same in the NBI. You can leave your email here Winston so that I can send you the material. And good luck to us. hahaha. I hope to see you in the academy. T_T.

          • HI! NBi Academy texted me 2 days ago and said that I need to prepare for the Next step of my application. Is it the agility test? What are those test? Can you please help me in what kind of preparations should I make? Thanks a lot.

        • Hey bro,

Backer is not necessary. You need to prove yourself that you are qualified to become an NBI Agent. If they see you fit to become one, why would they not hire you? I agree with Lia, dont resign unless you already passed all the necessary steps especially the Neuro Exam. Once na di ka kasi pumasa sa Neuro, laglag ka na kaagad. Just make sure you complete all the documents needed and submit a photocopy of it sa NBI Regional Offices or District Offices. No need to go to Manila to submit your credentials personally. They will call you para sa schedule ng preliminary exam and interview with the Training Director. Follow up mo lang yung application mo if ever nakapagsubmit kna ng requirements. Best of luck!

  29. Good day Sir Mat Tan thanks for always helping us with our query. I badly needed your assistance. I recently passed the preliminary examination. I only wanted to know how long would it take for the succeeding examinations to be completed (as per to your experience). I am an OFW so I wanted to know if my limited vacation days will be enough to complete the process. Also, only if it is allowed, may we know the salary range for entry level agents. Thanks in advance. God bless!

P.S. – for all applicants please be informed that there are additional requirements needed. I am just not sure if I can disclose it here so try to visit the recruitment office for info. Good luck to us.

Anyway, for my preparation I read some UPCAT reviewers and tried on several logic and grammar tests available online. Just be ready for anything as there are some queer tests given.

        • Hi there bro. Though I did not read any materials before i took my prelim exams, i was able to pass it. Im not boasting that anyway you just have to play it smart. I think reading review materials is a smart move. Basically the exam covers general knowledge and since you are applying for an Investigation Agent position, you should expect that youll be tested with investigative stuffs. That’s all i can disclose for the meantime. You can do it!

I am a CPA and interested to join NBI but I found out that there will be an academy for training, was it difficult and just like a military training that I can’t go outside? or I can during weekends?

    hoping for your reply. thanks!

    • Hi Cherry,

Yep you can join. You may try to review the basic requirements as provided under RA 10867 or go visit the website of the NBI. With regards to difficulty of training, physically? You just have to wake up early in the morning like 3AM to do running and all. Mentally? Hell yes. Tough. Youll be tested anything under the sun. But overall, the training was a lot of fun. I really wanted to go back to my training days. I met awesome people who now i call my brothers from other mothers. Apply now. Based from my information, the training will start on the 2nd week of July this year. Dont miss the chance! Awesome perks by the way. See you around.

Otherwise, you cannot enter into the NBI service. Cheer up, finish your law degree first and apply at the NBI Academy, NBI Main Office. Building, Taft Avenue Manila.

And also is the age qualification still 25 to 35 y.o or had it been revised already? I am more than willing to be a member of the NBI yet I am still 21 y.o.

        Reply
        • Hi there bro!

Well i guess youll have to get a time machine and be in your 25. The reason why the age is 25-35 years old is because the job demands a lot of maturity and experience and being 21 y.o. is not good for the job. If you go through Neuro-Psychonometric Exam, you will definitely fail. Try to comeback when you are 25 y.o. Also, while doing so, study Law instead and become a lawyer, that will make things easier for you to join in the ranks.

  32. Hi Everyone,

Especially to Mr. Mat Tan; who I believe is an agent (correct me if I’m wrong), who can answer most of our queries with regards to becoming an Agent or Special Investigator at the National Bureau of Investigation.

I am also an idealist, who’s trying to pursue the career of an Agent or S.I. Based on my research and observation, you can only become Agent if you pass all the necessary requirements and if you are a CPA or a Lawyer. And Special Investigator. if you meet all the necessary requirements to become S.I.

I am a Mass Communication graduate and I think I met all the necessary requirements except for one and that’s Civil Service Eligibility. So, what I am currently doing as of today is reviewing and preparing for the upcoming Civil Service Exam. Once I passed this (trying to be optimistic), I have a chance to become S.I. which is my current goal right now. I want to become an agent but I am not a lawyer or CPA. So I think S.I. would be the best option in order to become part of the Bureau, which I believe is one step ahead to become an agent.

My question is, and I am just trying to become optimistic here. If ever I get into the bureau, is it possible to study law while you are employed as S.I? Are there any scholarships or schooling assistance if you want to pursue a higher education like law or CPA for that matter? If there are none, I am just going back to my first question, is it possible to study while employed?

I hope that Mr. Tan or anyone else can enlighten me on this matter. And I know some aspirants also want to know the answers.

Thank you very much mga kapwa ko pinoy na naghahangad maging kabahagi ng NBI.

    • Hi there Always Ready!

Yes, I am an NBI Agent. I’m to be of help in this blog since this helped me as well. Currently, NBI doesnt accept Special Investigators now since a new law has been passed which is the NBI Modernization Law (R.A. 10867). Under the existing law, only Agents are now being accepted.

To become an NBI Agent, an aspiring applicant must comply with the requirements under Sec. 8 of said law, particularly Sec. 8(c), to wit: “a member of Philippine Bar(lawyer) or a holder of a Baccalaureate Degree who passed the necessary government licensure examination relevant to the investigative function of the NBI…”. Hence, in order for you to qualify, you must be a graduate of Law and a board passer of a licensure examination like Licensed Accountant, Licensed Criminologist, and other board exam relative to investigative functions.

If you want to be a part of the highly respected investigative institution in our country, you must study law and become a lawyer. It entails a lot more than just have this passion to serve our country.

I remember the time when i was asked by the Training Superintendent during my preliminary interview (which comes after you passed the written examinations). he asked me, “why do you want to become an nbi agent?”. I know this question will be asked to me so i have prepared an obvious answer. I said, “I always have this desire and passion to serve my country since I was young”, then he told me, “everyone does. what makes you different?”. That follow-up question startled me. Now, that is the very question I would like to ask from you, “what makes you different?”. It’s more than just having this desire to serve our country. What can you offer to the institution? to the public? This job is very demanding, expectations by the public and your peers are very high.

      So this is my advise for you;
      1. Study Law
      2. Become a Lawyer

It’s not a sure thing that being so will give you a ticket to the NBI Academy but this is what the institution wants and requires.

      Thanks and best of luck!

      Mat Tan

  36. This question is directed to Sir Mat Tan. Sir I am Timothy. I am a CPA. I have already applied with the NBI last year but unfortunately I failed the neurological exam. We were informed that we could try again after 6 months. I do not know to pass that exam, what personality they’re looking for, or how they evaluate us based on our neuro results. I only know myself and I am the same person I was 6 months ago so if I try again I could just end up with the same results. So my question is this, eventhough I’m a CPA could I opt to apply for Special Investigator instead of NBI Agent? Are the standards the same or would it increase my chances. Is the NBI going to allow that.

    • Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been busy with work lately. Anyway, here are the answers to your questions;

Age can be waived so long as you are qualified.

      1. Presently, NBI is looking for qualified individuals to be Agents. Usually, a batch of trainees consists of 30 persons.
      2. Yes, they entertain walk-in applicants as I myself is a walk-in applicant. But before I went to the NBI Training Division, I have already completed all the documentary requirements. You do want to get entertained right? So you better opt to complete first the necessary documents before trying your luck.
      3. When I was in the application process, it took me 6 months before I was able to qualify as a trainee. Mind you, I failed my agility test 3 times despite being fit so you better work your ass off and get ripped. There is no definite training date so long as they already have a list of qualified applicants, schedule of a hell training comes next for 4 months. Another 2 months for the On-The-Job Training, then alas! graduation.

Its never easy undergoing in the training. Physical stuffs were not that tough. Mental and Emotional stuffs is a hell.

      Best of luck!

Just some follow-up questions. Are the exams given on consecutive days? As I am working abroad and will be going only for one month vacation, do you think I can finish all the written, agility tests and medical exams within this period? Is it allowed to discuss in here the types of written exams given and how many days did it last?

Lastly, are the agility test given the same with that of FBI? (push-ups, sit-ups, 300m sprint & 1.5 mile run)

Thank you so much in advance. Hope to work with you soon in God’s willing.

  41. Hi, I’m currently a 26y.o. CPA working as a manager in one of the Big 4 firms. Great undergraduate marks (all above 80%) but a few decimal points shy from getting a latin honor. Excellent board rating, too. I will meet almost all the requirements needed to be a NBI agent except the height requirement as I’m only 5’4″. Can an appeal be made to get an exception?

Also, are there any differences in the caseloads of NBI agents who are CPAs vs. lawyers? As a CPA, my expertise is both on financial and information systems audit. If I manage to get in, I’d probably be assigned to white collar crimes. However, (educate me if I’m wrong) there seems to be few of those in the Philippines with only the Aman Futures case in recent memory. My concern is basically hinged on career advancement and promotions.

      • Serving at a law enforcement agency (or the armed forces) is a goal for me. While I do agree that there is no shortage of excellent career opportunities at my current job it has been my intention to work here until I qualify for either NBI or AFP via OCS. So, admittedly, yes, a little idealistic. I intended to apply last year (2016) but some things got in the way and also there’s the hesitation due to the height requirement.

As for you mentioning that I care more about myself than serving the public, maybe you’re right. However, that’s also an unfair statement. I do care about myself in as much as serving the public. Idealistic, remember? Hehe. I do like to excel at things and be good at what I do. Hence, when I join any company or organization, I will always aim for the top.

I submitted the required documents last Oct 2015 and had the pre medical exam (Vision,Hearing, checking of tattoo and piercing) on the same day. Remember that an applicant should have no tattoo marks and piercings. On my case, I had an ear piercing during my college years but it healed.
January 2016 I took the first examination for a day. July 2016 I took the 2nd exam which is the Psychometric exam. the psychometric exam is taken for a week. I was working so I took my leave for a week. There are so many sets of exam that you will be answering specially the psychometric exam. Written exam for the psychometric can last for 3 days and a day for a panel interview with the psychologist.

I didn’t reach the Physical test as well as the medical test (the pre medical test is not the major medical test) since I failed in the psychometric exam.

Like, are you seeing things others don’t? If your answer is yes, then you will definitely fail. I mean, you really have to be cautious in answering all the questions. If you have noticed, the questions were somewhat repetitive. Make sure that you are consistent with your answers.

          • Sir tanong ko lang po sana kung meron bang dapat na aralin in preparation sa neuro exams?

Saka baka meron kang idea kung anong mga tests ang kasali sa Agility tests (physical test) at kung ano ang mga required score.

They don’t consider applicants who have failing marks and a board rating below 80. If you think you have met this criteria, then you should answer why you have gone AWOL from being a police officer. One requirement also is to have a good moral character and that you dont have any derogatory records. Anyway, if youre in manila, try to drop-by at the NBI Academy located at NBI Main Office and look for Ms. Rachel Bautista or Ms. Glaiko for inquiries. Best of luck!

        Good day!

I applied and took the psychometric exam last july 2016 but sadly, I failed. Though I failed this year, I planned to retake the exam January 2017 since NBI informed me I can retake the exam after 6 months.

        Here are my queries sir:
        1. Do I need to pass again all the required documents like NBI Clearance, Marriage Cert, Court Clearances, Brgy Clearance, CTC (since this documents have expiration dates)?
        2. How Much is the salary of an entry level agent?
        3. Are candidates who are included in the Training Academy in Baguio be compensated/will have a salary?

Thank you! Please enlighten me sir!
I do want to be part of NBI!

        • Hi there Solomon! You can still reapply if you failed the Psychometric Exam. Re your queries:

          1. yes, you need to complete all the docs again.
          2. Salary now has increased to ~40k/mo.
          3. You are compensated from the start of the training. Your meals and accommodation during training is free. You only have to pay for some gears and your daily ‘taho’ and laundries. That’s all for now.

Hope i was able to enlighten you ala illuminati!

  53. Hi. Can I still join the NBI if I become a CPA but don’t have 20/20 vision. I’m wearing eye glasses because of astigmatism. I don’t even mind being an SI instead (what is the difference anyway) or take a pay cut just as long as I get to work for the agency. This is the kind of work I want. I’m also going to apply in PDEA and the PNP but the NBI is my first priority. I suspect that my vision will also be questioned in the latter LEAs though.

  87. As a former applicant i suggest do good, and pass the grueling, and killer “Neuro examination” the way i did (modesty aside). Before i took the the exam my schoolmate (who has been in the Bureau ahead of me) advised me to do my best with the Neuro examination because there are also Lawyer and Doctor applicants who fail the examination. If i am not mistaken the examinations is held for three (3) days 8am to 5pm. After completing the said examinations you have to wait for uncertainty, and if one day you receive a call from the Bureau informing you that they would be conducting a background investigation about you (they would personally visit you in your given location, or abode) and be prepared for the background check, just be honest, never attempt to tell a lie, otherwise you are courting disaster. Lastly, PRAY HARD.

  130. As for salary inquiry, if you think you can be a good agent or investigator for sure that won’t be your main concern. But it is right that for S.I. it’s salary grade 18 or about 32K basic salary. Age requirement is peg at an age where they think a person is mature enough to handle the nature of work in the bureau. For NBI agent and Special Investigator applicants go directly to NBI Training Division in their main office at Taft Avenue, Manila and submit your resume there and if your qualified you will be scheduled for an exam…. I am not from connected or anything to NBI, this is just the little knowledge that I got from someone working there. Hope it helps our aspiring agents and investigator out there.

    • hello.. are they strict in there requirements that an applicant should had no failing grade?? please reply .. thank uou

      Reply
    • Being an elite agency I guess they won’t settle for someone who can’t strictly meet the requirements. Remember that if you become an agent you will not be going after petty crimes like burglary or theft and ordinary neighbor disputes or traffic violators. You will handle cases against military and police personnel? Politicians and High ranking officials? And the most notorious and wanted person in the Philippines? That’s why I think they need only the best and as far as I know if ever you passed the initial qualifying exam you will be sent to NBI academy for your training, and you need to undergo and pass series of exams and test in order to graduate. Battling with lawyers and cpa’s at the same time? wohooo that’s tough! But mind you all…..there is no harm in trying if ever you fall short of their requirements… Good Luck!

    • Application for Agents is being handled by NBI Training Division and the Personnel Division handles applicants for regular office job at the bureau. And as of now their advisory is they are only accepting Lawyers and CPA’s who wants to become an NBI Agent and no recruitment for S.I. yet.

  131. Just wanna share the little knowledge that I know about NBI agents and Special Investigators. For Lawyers and CPA graduate you can be an NBI agent, for non-lawyer you are only qualified to as a Special Investigator. Even if you are a Law graduate and you haven’t pass the bar exam yet, you can never be an NBI agent.

  132. Hi Fehl! Here once again for your expert advice. Though I haven’t received a feedback from you, I just want to know if the NBI have a sort of program wherein its SI’s or employees are given the opportunity to pursue law?

    • Hello 🙂 I’m not an expert really and I’m not from the NBI so I don’t know the answer to this question. I think though just like other companies here, they offer chances for their employees to climb up the career or corporate ladder. If there are no programs, at least they give advices as to how you can pursue higher position or your dream position. Once you worked in a company, you can always know how to go further…

      • Hi Fehl! So delighted to read a response from you. Thank you for that opinion. As a personal circumstance, I am an officer of the Philippine Marines trying to explore options beyond service in uniform. I took up Political Science and History and a lucky CSE prof holder too. Do you think that my military background will be helpful in my application if ever? I really appreciate every response you give. Thank you and God bless.

  134. Hi Fehl,

Good afternoon! I just want to ask what particular month NBI is hiring an agent? Or is is a whole year process?

    Thanks and regards,

    • I don’t know if they have grand recruitment period or whatever they call it.. but I think they’re hiring different positions any day. You must check out their “Career” section of their website although right now, it’s not yet available. I guess their website is still under construction. You can contact their personnel hotline anytime anyway to inquire for any opening. God bless!

          • Hi Fehl. Do you think an applicant with a military background would have an edge over the others given that all of the requirements are satisfied? Does the NBI have a sort of educational program for those SI’s who want to pursue law or something to that effect?

  135. hi fehl, remember me? ask ko lang uli do you have any idea about their exam coverage? i just only knew its essay and investigative type, do u have any idea? pls help me..thanks much!

    • Hello Cy 🙂 Yes I remember the name but cant remember what post we talked before…hehehe I have no idea about the exam coverage but IMHO it would really tackle investigative and logical things. Watch some shows like CSI Miami and indulge with Horatio Caine on weekend so you could say much things on the essays. You can surely learn a lot just by watching a full episode 🙂 DVD is P50 only hey! My list of pending items are the NBI Clearance, resident certificate and the statement of assets and liability.
Is resident certificate pertains to brgy. clearance?

    Thanks.

    • Resident Certificate is also known as Cedula. Barangay Clearance is another document. You can get them both from your Barangay Hall / Office of the Barangay Chairman/Captain

  142. Hi Fehl! I’m a new lawyer and I’m considering the NBI as a career option. I have three questions that I would like to ask (please bear with me):

    1. Among the requirements is that you should have no “tattoos”. I have body burns (fraternity-related), does that come under the prohibition?
    2. Another requirement is that you must have good eyesight. I am currently wearing prescription glasses (I’m near-sighted) but I plan on undergoing Lasik corrective surgery next month. How does that affect my application?
    2. How about Senate Bill No. 2970 (NBI Reorganization / Modernization)? Last I heard it was already approved on third reading. What could be its effect on the salaries/benefits? I’m hoping for a salary grade increase for entry level agents.

    Thank you very much!

    • Hi there Ping 🙂 Let me say, congratulations! The Bar Exam is one of the most difficult…

I can only share opinion here. The no-tattoo requirement seems mandatory when applying to a job here in the Philippines. I think it is tied with being decent and looking decent and neat however I think it’s not really a strict policy especially if the tattoo is just little or it’s underneath our clothes or not really exposed. If they asked you if you have a tattoo, of course we must always be honest. Honesty always excels. As to the eyesight, I think if you passed their exam, you’ll be fine. LASIK treatment is a good thing as it brings back a 20/20 vision or almost 🙂 I’ve never heard of that SB yet, thanks for mentioning that here. It sounds amazing. I love watching CSI Miami. I wish NBI here will be as modern as that.

  146. Hi,

I have a bachelor degree with honours in Psychology with Criminology and currently undertaking my Master degree in Psychology. One of the requirement is must be a Pilipino citizen which im not as i am British citizen but i was born originally in the philippines. I have a small tattoo in the back of my hand, will i still be eligible to apply?

If i was to be accepted, does the company have a fix contract in terms of how long i have to work for the company until i can announce to resign.
Or does the NBI allow a work experience for at least 2 years as part of my practice study?

Overall of the requirement list above, if i had a reference or recommendation from an NBI Agent, can that be use as support of my application in terms of being able to partake the physical, psychological test?

I hope you can answer my questions

    Thanks

    • Good afternoon. 🙂 I’m not affiliated and connected with the NBI so I can only share my opinion here. If you are a British citizen, you can still apply although priorities are for Filipinos. Who knows they need British staff for a special assignment. We never know 🙂 So apply 🙂 If you wanna be part of the NBI for work experience or study, just get in touch directly to the director and ask about any available position for you. Your credentials are impressive by the way. Best of luck 🙂

  155. for the information of everybody: the starting salary IS NO LONGER 18,000…..BUT 32,000 PLUS FOR THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATORS AND 37 THOUSAND PLUS FOR THE AGENTS. THATS THE BASIC SALARY ONLY…

  156. Hello there 🙂 the 18K is just the range, it may increase anytime if there is a new EO. Of course your salary will increase as you reach a higher salary grade. In the government, usual positions require full time commitment. If you want to do sidelines, ask your director about it. You are required to fulfill your duties sworn. Having works outside the agency will only cause conflicts and you must specifically ask your boss’s permission before that…If you wanna be working in the NBI, you must remember their motto in your heart, Nobility, Bravery and Integrity and practice that in your career and duties.

Working in the government is always a public service. If you want higher and grand compensation, choose a private entity though your contract will not be as solid as working in the government. A private entity is likely to go bankrupt while the government will forever have budget no matter what. Just saying 🙂

  157. hi.. thanks for all the info… nice one.
I just have some questions. I hope you would mind in helping me.
Is the Php.18,000.00 basic salary fixed for the entry level irrespective of the work experiences you have?
Are you not allowed to demand higher compensation?
Is it possible to become an NBI agent at the same time working in other company?:)
How long does it take to be trained as an agent?

hehe… sorry if I have a lot of questions.
I’m just so interested in joining NBI.
But of course I am also considering the compensation I would receive. A compensation that is at least the same if not higher than the compensation I am currently receiving.
    thanks a lot… GOD BLESS…;)

    • Hello 🙂 Yes you are very much qualified because you are a CPA. Giving birth is all part of being a working woman. Any company understand that besides they also offer special maternity benefits for women. As long as you meet the NBI requirements and training, you have a chance. Just think that you are a CPA and use that edge to pursue your dreams 🙂 Good luck! God bless. Send my hugs to your new baby 🙂
