List of Smart, Globe, Sun, TM, ABSCBN Mobile Numbers

Updated List of Smart, Globe, Sun, TM, ABSCBN Mobile Numbers. This is also “How to Know If Mobile Number is Smart, Globe, Sun, TM, ABSCBN.” I decided to share this post because many friends always ask me “what network is this sim number?” or “is this number Globe or Smart or Sun?” before they text or call someone with those numbers because most of us now use unlimited call and text with a certain network.

UPDATE: President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act 11202 or the Mobile Number Portability Act. The NTC on Wednesday assured to complete and finalize the IRR within 90 days to implement the new law in the second quarter of the previous year. The new law will allow mobile users to switch networks or subscription plans without changing their numbers.

I still remember the days when mobile numbers just start with 0918 and 0917 and it was only Smart and Globe back then but now, there are numerous sequences of numbers that are confusing to know whether it’s Smart or Globe or Sun Cellular. Right now, Touch Mobile is also under Globe while Talk N Text is under Smart.

There are also additional networks that came along like ABS CBN Mobile, Cherry Mobile, Next Mobile and Extelcom.

This list will help your confusion when checking a mobile number or sim number’s network whether you are planning to buy a new sim again or you want to be connected with someone’s mobile.

The government of the Philippines is also into planning to allow permanent mobile sim number soon. What do you think about it? Let us wait and see what big networks like Smart, Globe and Sun will do something about it.

And those are the list so far. I was expecting my loading station has the list but I could not ask a copy of it from them. Just found someone from my Twitter posting the list. Yay! I never Tweet and use Twitter much these days but it’s very helpful with some information. I enjoy Instagram more these days although the social media is more into photos, stories and short clips. With news and updates, I rely more on the Tweets and then some.

Have you noticed something on the list of mobile sim numbers? I wonder how they came up with those sequence? Back from the old days when I used to think odd number sequence means it’s Globe while even number sequence means it’s Smart. But now, it’s totally different.

We will definitely post more numbers if the telecommunication networks would add more on the list. For now, those are the numbers so far being used by old and new subscribers and mobile users. Use it as a guide when loading or when getting most of your unlimited call and text services. Keep in touch!

  3. My wife’s Globe number begins 0956. This is not recognized by the BPI, who could not enroll it on my account for online loading.
    [BPI does not accept online loading of Smart numbers either}
