How to Buy Amazon Products in the Philippines

Easy and cheap ways on how to buy and ship Amazon products in the Philippines. Since there is no Amazon online shopping store yet in our country, you can still buy Amazon products and use shipping options in the Philippines.

Many products in Amazon offer free shipping and delivery services however once you checkout, it won’t continue and you would receive a message like “this product is not available to ship in the Philippines” and you get frustrated because you really want that gadget or product and you cannot buy it anywhere in the Phil. Worry no more because now you can buy anything using Amazon like I did recently.

I recently bought a Polaroid Waterproof Action Camera from Amazon USA. Since the product was not eligible to ship here, I tried to search it on eBay.com.ph too but the shipping cost was freaking expensive like 4000 pesos. Whoa! My camera costs only around P8000 and if I would buy it from eBay, it would cost me like 12000 or more.

So I searched for more ways. Luckily, I found out about a service from Johnny Air Cargo a.k.a. JAC that is called Johnny Air Plus Online Shopping Partner.

Of course I have checked and searched about their company and delivery service and fortunately they are legit. Actually they have branches all over New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and San Francisco, California and apparently OFWs in the America are using their service for Balikbayan Box and other cargo services.

Yeah they have offices in the East Coast and West Coast. So if you want to do shopping in Amazon or any other store in the US like Kmart, Sears, Timberland, Ralph Lauren and the like, you can safely use their shipping service.

How to buy Amazon Products and Ship them in the Philippines:

  • Use an Online Shipping Partner like Johnny Air Plus.
  • Register your account at Johnny Air Plus official website. As for me, I emailed them and they sent me some forms I filled out and submitted back. You need to submit Client Profile Form and 2 valid IDs. They will also send you the details on how to use their shipping service to assist you more.
  • Buy your desired products on Amazon and use Johnny Air Plus shipping address. As for me, I used their address in LA since it’s much closer. The correct address will be sent by JAC Plus employee. If you don’t know it, email them.
  • JAC Plus will ship your products to the Philippines for you. Choose where you want to pick them up (SM Megamall, JAC Plus Makati, SM Cebu, JAC Plus Davao) or just have them delivered in your Manila address.
  • Email your tracking number to JAC Plus for easy monitoring.
  • An SMS message will be sent to you once your package has arrived and ready for pick up.
  • Pay the necessary fees. As for me, it was only P947 because first time customers could get discount for handling fees.

That is so cheap compared to using Fedex or any other shipping service which will cost you around P3000 delivery charge.

I loved their fast and convenient delivery service. I got my package in a week. Honestly, I would love to use their service again soon.

What about you, have you shopped using Amazon and shipped in the Philippines? Leave your comments darlings so we can all share useful info.

  1. hi. this is so informative for me because i’m planning to buy a condenser microphone in amazon specifically the cad u37 since i guess, it’s too rare to find such thing here in the country. my concern is im living in a province. in bohol. will the jac be able to ship the package here in bohol or i’m going to pick it up in any of their branches? please help me.

and also, i don’t have a cc since.i’m still in college but i have a landbank acc…can i use it in paying? or any proxy.?
    thanks. best regards.

    • Hi Christian. JAC has a branch in Cebu City. If your package has arrived there, I think you can contact that branch and let your package delivered in Bohol for you. Of course, you need to pay them for that. That’s the only way I can think of if you don’t want to pick it up personally.

Amazon also accepts Paypal I think and Paypal accept debit cards

  2. I AM FROM INDIA BUT WANT SEND GIFT TO MY WIFE SHE IS IN Philippines

  3. HI I’m planning to buy prismacolor color pencils and other things on amazon which is on sale. Can I pay it on delivery? and where do i get it because I live in Bicol, in Naga City. Is there an added tax? or I just have to pay what price was posted on amazon?

    • Hi! When you buy items in Amazon, you need to pay them already. Since you live in the PHilippines, you need to use US shipping service like JAC Plus to deliver the items you bought from Amazon. Read the article, it was mentioned there 🙂

  4. Hi I’m expecting a gift from my bf in U.S and bought a necklace for me through Amazon U.S.A. and he paid 40$ for the delivery fee.. My question is when I receive that small package for me here in the Philippines should I pay the delivery service again?

    • No, you don’t need to pay anything when you receive the package since your bf already paid everything associated with the delivery

  6. Hi, I am very thankful I found this article as I have been searching for something like this for a long time. I’ve successfully registered using their online registration form (they only required 1 upload of a government id though) I got an email for verification but no details on where to ship to so I checked their website. Just want to confirm if the below address in LA is what you use? Thanks.

  7. I asked someone from JAC SM an estimate for a pair of shoe. it would cost around P1,300 without the original box. was about to buy to pair of shoe from amazon but it would cost P 2,300 – 2,500 for the shipping from US(JAC address) to Cebu.

  8. HI,

this post is very informative. May i know the size and weight of the item you bought and type of box/package you availed from JAC?

i need to to know if i can buy a lot and fit it in that box/package. so as to maximize the shipping cost.

    thanks 🙂

    • it’s 3 pounds only, dimension: 7.3 x 6.1 x 3.7 inches ; 4.8 ounces. JAC used the box from Amazon. They didn’t repack my product. It came to me in an Amazon box, sealed and untouched. 🙂

  9. hello fehl, i’m from iloilo, philippines and this is my very first time to buy items on line in case all goes well. i have seen materials needed for my craft, i.e. circle cutter and punches from amazon and i desire to purchase some of them. i believe i just have to convert dollar into peso on each desired item, is this right? how much amazon will charge me on my shipment? and how many days will i be receiving my purchase? please reply on my email. thank you.

    • If you are in the Philippines, some Amazon items with free shipping doesn’t cover shipping to the Philippines. Good thing though there is a shipping service like JAC. You can buy your Amazon products and have them delivered here fast and secure. Follow the steps I’ve done and discussed in the article above

    • If you use a shipping service like what I did (in the article above), you only have to pay delivery fees, no taxes, no customs, no hassle

    • It depends upon the weight and type of item you will ship. JAC will send you the price when you register an account with them

  11. Hi Ms Fehl,

Do you have local distributor here in the Philippines to inquire and transact with our requirements?

    Regards,

    • I don’t know a local distributor for Amazon in the Philippines. I prefer buying and transacting directly to Amazon and just use the shipping service of JAC Plus

  12. Ang mahal parin pala. Kala ko nasa 250-500 lang bayad. Balak ko pa naman bumili ng janoski….

  14. Hi Ms. Fhel,

I would highly appreciate if you could confirm that you paid JAC for only Php947.00 on all the processing including custom’s release as well as duties & taxes?

Nice blog and keep it up!

    Thanks,

    • Hi there! Yes, I only paid P947. I had $5 discount coz they have promo for first-time customers who register. The coupon of the discount is on their website.

  15. Hi there. This is actually helpful and I wasn’t aware of such a thing as a forwarding service before reading this article. I have a question though. After reading this, I googled for others who also offer these kinds of services. I stumbled upon my-shopping box, pobox.ph, and I’m not sure if LBC can carry this kind of service out. In terms of pricing, which do you think is the best so far? Thanks 🙂

    • I don’t know those service you mentioned deliver products from Amazon so I have no say. I only used JAC plus and it’s very reputable 🙂
